

Godsells Cheese is a range of hand made cheeses
made at Church Farm, in the Gloucestershire village of Leonard Stanley,
using milk from our own herd of cows and one other local farm. All
our cheeses are made with pasteurized milk and are suitable for
vegetarians.
The “Cheese Team” consists of myself, Liz Godsell,
I have always loved cheese but since starting the cheese business
my love has become a passion. I am Master Cheesemaker and love talking
about cheese (and cows). My husband, Bryan, pasteurizes the milk,
helps make it, sell it and deliver it (and is very good at cooking
with it!).
Lorna Mankee, joined us 6 years ago to get fit
after having her children and is now very fit and Assistant Cheesemaker.
Helena Parks has been with us for 5 months and is our flavours expert.
We dabble in putting herbs and spices in some cheese to add interest
at Farmers Market. Rory Gaunt is an enthusiastic foodie who helps
on cheese making day at the busy part of salting and milling. My
parents Edward and Audrey Godsell have found themselves as part
of the local delivery team.
